ADAM

My name is Adam Graves, my close friends call me Keebler or just Keeb. I’m an Oregon coastie, born in Coos bay. I’ve lived in Eugene pretty much my whole life. I have two awesome kids. My passions are art, traveling and the outdoors. My 3 favorite F words are Family, friends and food.

Traveling is where I get the most out of life and always brings more of an appreciation for life and the beauty of this world. I’m also the one with the least amount of ride time on a motorcycle, but have always had a love for motorcycles and riding them since I first watched “The Great Escape” with my dad at a young age.  It wasn’t until around 2006 that I watched “The Long Way Round” with the infamous Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman that I started to think about adventure traveling. Then when they released “Long Way Up” and I watched that in 2020, I knew that someday I would want to travel that route.

Now I’m lucky and fortunate enough to make my fascination of this trip into a reality and couldn’t be more excited to do this with two of my friends.

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”- Anthony Bourdain
