Why do any of this?

Why??

People have been asking the 3 of us WHY? Why would you want to ride a motorcycle 16,000 miles across 14 countries?

WHY NOT? Who wouldn’t want to make all those memories!

When Adam FaceTimed Red and Matt from his car midway through a convenience store corndog and announced, “we need to ride our motorcycles to Ushuaia, Argentina before we turn 50” there was never any doubt that we’d be heading South soon and for a very long time. In that moment, we all knew this wasn’t just another trip; it was the beginning of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Now, as the reality sets in, our excitement has only grown. Riding motorcycles from Oregon all the way to Patagonia is an extraordinary opportunity. One that few ever attempt and even fewer get to experience with their best friends. We aren’t the typical adventure riders who walk away from everything for three months; we’re three friends choosing to chase something bigger, knowing the memories will last far longer than the miles.

We have no idea exactly what awaits us on the road ahead, but we’re certain it will include joy and pain, tears and laughter, and probably a few four letter words along the way. What we do know is that we will have the privilege of witnessing some of the Lord’s finest works. We will get to see and ride through countless breathtaking landscapes, meet tons of unforgettable people, and eat lots of incredible food.

We will get to live more life in a few days than most people get to experience in a lifetime. We will be soaking it all in one mile, one country, and one story at a time.
