The Journey Begins: Day One on the Road to Patagonia
Day one Pines 2 Patagonia tour. The boys departed Matt’s house at 9 AM. Matt’s parents, David’s wife and daughter were present. We headed west to Florence, then turn south, and headed south all the way to Eureka California.
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, just north of Eureka and settled into a Holiday Inn for the evening.
We all three were amazed how much baggage we were able to fit on these three bikes. We may not have recognized it until we required two baggage carts to get our stuff up to our room. Tomorrow morning we head south… Heading for Highway one and excited to cross the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.
