Redwoods, Route 1, and a Blessing on the Road

Day two of Pines 2 Patagonia tour

We started out overcoming a small mechanical glitch and wrestling nearly 600 pounds of baggage back onto our bikes, that is gonna get really old really fast.

We headed south on Highway 101 and worked our way through the avenue of the Giants Redwood Forest.

Next stopped in Leggett to drive through a tree 🌲 before turning west and heading down Highway 1.

We wandered through some beautiful scenery up and over the coastal range, dropping down into Fort Bragg for lunch.

After lunch, we continued south a little bit too far where we were priced out of our accommodations for the evening, causing us to backtrack a little and call it a night in Petaluma, California.

While fueling our bikes, we ran into a wonderful man from Fiji. His name was Judah and he was a pastor back in Fiji. He gathered Matt Adam and I up at the pumps and said a prayer over us for safe passage.

Excited to cross the Golden Gate Bridge first thing in the morning and continue making our way down the coastline.
