A Desert Ride to Palm Springs

Day 4 Pines 2 Patagonia log

We departed Bakersfield a little after 0830 this morning and headed towards Barstow.

After grabbing some fuel and a few snacks in Barstow we headed across some beautiful desert and mountain passes working our way to Palm Springs. Gorgeous mountains with picturesque Joshua trees speckled along the roadside, made it difficult to keep our eyes on the road at times.

Upon our arrival at Adam’s parent’s place, we quickly shed our riding gear and traded them for shorts. It was 79 degrees when we rolled in.

Papa Steve was kind enough to take us out to a nice dinner for our last meal here in the USA 🇺🇸

After dinner, we did some maintenance on our bikes and relaxed a bit on the back patio before calling it a night.
