Sun, Sweat & Palomas: From Acapulco to Playa Ventura

Day 15 Pines 2 Patagonia log

Acapulco - Playa Ventura

(Puerto Bianco)

We got off to a slow start getting out of Acapulco… and by the time we got moving it was over 80 degrees and getting hotter.

We set our sights on a small beach to just a few miles from Cópala. It was a beautiful ride even with the heat.

Once you arrive in these small towns, finding your destination is often harder than getting there. With the help of a nice local we were pointed in the right direction and found our residence for the evening.

Puerto Bianco is a fantastic boutique hotel with 2 large ocean front suites and several smaller ones. There was a pool, a dining / bar area and all only 40 yards from the ocean.

We got checked in, unloaded the bikes, changed cloths and were ready to head for the beach when our amazing host Amber brought us some fresh, cold Palomas.

After enjoying some cold drinks we had dinner on our back porch also made by Amber. This young lady took amazing care of us. She even did our gross boy laundry.

After dinner, a few drinks, more swimming and some story telling it was time to plan the next days adventure and call it a night.
